Medical facilities in Zimbabwe are good the main towns, but there are also well-equipped clinics in most outlying areas. Medical costs can be very expensive so health insurance would be essential. Private hospitals may require either health insurance or cash payment before admission.
Healthcare vaccinations against Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Malaria,Tetanus, Typhoid and Rabies are special precautions. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is only required from travellers who are coming from areas with risk of yellow fever transmission.
